Easy Kada Prasad (Aate ka halwa) Recipe

Atte ka halwa is a pudding made with whole wheat flour. It's a simple desert and you only need three basic ingredients i.e Whole wheat flour sugar and clarified butter (Ghee) to prepare this halwa.  Whenever you crave for sweet and don't have much time then you should definitely try this one out! Ingredients: 1 cup whole wheat flour  ½ cup clarified butter (Ghee) 1 cup sugar  2 cups water 8-10 chopped nuts Method: 1. Heat clarified butter (ghee) in a pan. 2. Add whole wheat flour in the pan and start roasting (Roast until it's golden brown) 3. Prepare sugar syrup by adding sugar and water in pan and  boil until the sugar melts. 4. Gently add the sugar syrup in the roasted whole wheat mixture and stir continuously (Make sure that no lumps are formed) 5. Garnish this halwa by adding chopped nuts on top and serve hot!!!

Easy Butter Chicken (Murgh Makhani ) Recipe

Butter chicken is a traditional North Indian dish that is creamy, rich and packed with aromatic spices and flavours. Butter chicken or murgh makhani is believed to have originated in a restaurant as a means to use up leftover Tandoori chicken. The tomato gravy, butter and cream prove to be a delicious way to soften the leftover chicken and keep it from drying out. Amritsari Fish Fry

Amritsari fish fry is a delicious  fried fish recipe. It's easy to make, delicious to taste, and can be consumed as both- snack or part of a meal. This Appetizer is popular in the streets of Amritsar.  The popularity of Amritsari fish fry is similar to Tandoori Chicken.  This recipe won't take much time to prepare. I'm sure that you'll are going to love this one! Ingredients: 500 gm fish fillets (Chunks or cubes) 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste 2 tbsp Lemon juice 1 tsp Chilli powder 1 tsp Carom seeds 1 tsp Coriander powder 1 tsp C umin powder 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder 200 gm Chickpea flour (besan) Salt as per taste Oil for frying Method: 1) Mix all the ingredients i.e spices, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice and flour in a bowl and make a batter. 2) Cut fish fillets into cubes and dip into the prepared batter. 3) Heat the oil and deep fry the battered fish until it's crispy and golden brown. 4) Serve it as a snack or with a meal.  

Gajar Ki Kanji: A fermented carrot drink from Punjab

"Gajar Ki Kanji" is a popular drink from Punjab and also made-down in Northern India. "Kanji" is a fermented drink. It's made with black carrots and spices i.e Red chilli powder, kosher salt, asafoetida and mustard powder. This drink is usually prepared in winter season because black carrots  only accessable during winter. Gajar ki kanji is healthful, old fashioned drink which is high in nutrients. As this drink is fermented in the sun, it develops good bacteria that are extremely beneficial for health.  Serve this drink before dinner for better digestive system. It has a tangy flavour that excite the taste bud and it hardly take 15 mins to prepare. So finally, I decided to share this recipe as   winter season is on its way!
